You’ll be seen by an experienced skin cancer doctor with advanced training in skin cancer detection and dermatoscopy. If anything looks suspicious, we can manage it in-house, from cryotherapy and topical cream-based treatments to surgical removal.

If you have one to three moles that you are concerned about and would like these to be checked specifically, you can book a 1-3 Spot Check to have these thoroughly assessed by an expert skin cancer doctor.

Perfect if you have self-idenified a mole or skin lesion that you’re concerned about, but don’t want a Full Body Skin Check.

Price may vary depending on complexity of procedure - an estimate will be provided prior to your appointment date

Whether identified by us, or by someone else, we can remove most suspected skin cancers in our Greymouth clinic.

If we identify something during your skin check appointment that requires surgical treatment, this will be discussed with you during the appointment. We will co-ordinate a management plan with you, and if a surgical procedure is required then we will arrange this with you.

If more complex surgery is required, or if you would prefer onward referral to a specialist colleague, then we can complete a referral for you.

Many suspected skin cancers and pre-cancerous lesions can be treated with topical (cream-based) treatments, or liquid nitrogen cryotherapy. These treatments will usually be completed at the same time as your skin check.

When you book with us, you will have peace of mind in knowing that you will be able to book future skin checks or follow-up appointments with the same doctor who knows you and can carefully monitor your skin for change.

If you undergo a surgery or procedure, we will also provide any necessary follow-up appointments or aftercare.
